As one of the program’s pioneers, Grove was tasked with delivering three turnkey kindergarten facilities across Meadowglen, Newhaven, and Wonthaggi — all within a tight 5-month timeline. From initial design through to landscaping, Grove managed every element of the project to ensure minimal disruption to the school environments. Each facility was designed around open-plan learning spaces to allow for adaptable classroom configurations and featured integrated, custom-designed playgrounds to promote outdoor engagement. By prefabricating modules offsite, Grove dramatically reduced on-site time, ensuring the school operations remained uninterrupted and the kindergarten operators could begin programming sooner. This streamlined process improved safety outcomes, lowered costs, and accelerated delivery — all while maintaining exceptional quality standards. The successful rollout of these kindergartens highlights Grove’s ability to collaborate closely with government stakeholders and demonstrate how modular construction can be both innovative and community-focused. We were thrilled to be involved in such a new and forward-thinking program. To be able to deliver a high-end product, but remove the normal pains associated with a drawn-out construction process showed the success of the concept. Brenton Grove – Grove CEO
